So I made it safely into Anyuan today - it was about 45 km on a fairly decent road, so it wasn't that bad of a trip. Unfortunately, after about 10km, my back tire popped (I must have hit a nail or something), and I had to walk for about 5km to get to the nearest village and have the people fix it. The cost to fix the tire - 2 yuan (about 25cents)! I am continually amazed by how cheap things are in China. Anyways, after a bit, the rain started up pretty strongly, so I just biked slowly - now that I have raingear and my backpack is covered, rain really doesn't bother me much - it makes it hard to see with my glasses, but at least it isn't boiling hot.

The girl fixing my bike thought that I was the most hilarious thing that had ever happened in their village.
That's pretty much it here - tomorrow I'm going to cross back into Jiangxi Province over the mountains. It should be fun - but the forecast is still for rain.
